It is important to realize that the choice of a course and later a career is one of the most important decisions an individual will ever make. The right choice will come with success and job satisfaction which will contribute largely to your job being a pleasant experience in live.

Given the huge expenses associated with tertiary qualifications and accompanied with the time lost in studying in the wrong direction it is crucial to make the right choices at the right time.

This is how we can assist you; In our approach to Career Counselling we focus on the following aspects

What does it entail?

A battery of career test will be conducted including the following:

Mental ability
Aptitude
Interest
Personality

The test lasts approximately 2 hours on completion of the test the following will happen:

The tests are processed and interpreted
Immediate feedback is given to all concern via an interview
Guidance to the client and parents ( where applicable ) is given
A written report is provided with a 1,2 and 3rd career option

Client Requirements:

We require the following from the client;

Latest Scholastic/ academic results/rapport/Grade 12 final rapport/ shorten CV (adult workers)
The client must be bilingual (Afrikaans or English)
The client must be in good health on the day of the testing

Qualifications and experience

Joe Venter with a B.Com Hons degree ( Industrial Psychology ) and a qualified Psychometrist ( Independent practice / Private Practice) Reg No PMT 0082589 under the HPCSA ( Health Professions Council of South Africa) has been involved with psychometric evaluations as from 1994.

With his career as a Human Resources Specialist with extensive experience in recruiting, placement and development of staff in various companies and industries, have a distinctive advantage to any Counselling Psychologist that has never work in a corporate or business environment to advise and guide you in your career choice

With his years of experience in using psychometric evaluations in career counselling, selection and placements, training / development and Management Development he comes with a practical approach which is to the advantage of his clients when it comes to guidance in career counselling.

His experience in working with scholars (career counselling) and university students for selection and placement has honed him as a specialist in the field.
